Curaçao is the favorite holiday destination for our family. Thanks to the ideal climate, the beautiful beaches, nature, and the relaxed atmosphere you can truly relax here.

But Curaçao is also suitable for active holidaymakers: diving, snorkeling, sailing, nature walks, kite surfing, ATV off-road, city walks, fishing, flyboarding, paddleboarding or jet-ski.





Information

  • The average cost for water and electricity is US$14 per day when using the air conditioners only at night in the bedrooms. The energy consumption of the new air conditioner in the living room is yet to be estimated, but it is expected to be around US$2  per hour. For a more economical option, we recommend regulating the living room temperature by keeping the door and sliding doors open. We will settle the amount at the end of your stay based on meter readings and actual utility rates.
  • Curacao is a tropical island. On any tropical island, you will find tropical insects such as mosquitoes, spiders, cockroaches, mice, salamanders, rats, etc. We do not offer refunds if you encounter them.

Rules


  • Be considerate to your neighbors and fellow Blue Bay guest and residents
  • No loud noise or music in the villa and the common areas.
  • No noise between 10 pm and 8 am..
  • Parking in designated areas only.
  • No pets can be brought to the villa.
  • Common areas are only for residents or guests of our villas.
  • No garbage items may be placed next to the bins in the common areas. Only household garbage can be disposed of. Please close the containers.
  • Only toilet paper can be deposited in the toilets. Please do not flush anything else through the toilets..
  • No laundry outside the balconies or in sight of other villas.
  • Absolutely no open fire barbecue usage of any kind allowed on the porch or any other place in the Blue Bay Village area. As a substitute we offer an electric BBQ
  • Smoking is only allowed outside.

Info about our cats

Please do not feed the cats or let them inside. The cats are part of our eco-friendly pest control and are very well cared for. There are even cat “hotels”!

Mosquito (trap)

Blue Bay does its utmost to control mosquitoes. We use the Biogents “BG-Mosquitaire” mosquito trap—an excellent, environmentally friendly solution specifically designed to target Asian tiger mosquitoes and yellow fever mosquitoes. To a mosquito, the trap appears like a human. The sturdy plastic trap is placed on the veranda and will catch many mosquitoes.
